Just forward of the oil filter - it should have one wire going to it.

And it is a royal pain in the butt to get at!! I just replaced mine back on Saturday - it did fix my guage, and stop the hemmoraging that my truck was suffering from though, so I'm glad I replaced it.

Pull the wire off the sender and short it to ground. The guage should sweep, if not the guage is bad.

hey man , i put a PSI gauge on the output for the sensor , and the truck is making 90 PSI as soon as i start it
whats the deal with that
is it normal
my chiltons says it should only be making 50 at 2000 RPM

not 90 at idle

90 sounds pretty high, unless maybe a previous owner put in a high pressure pump. What does it read when it's hot? My 351 hits about 65-70 cold and drops to 45 hot running down the highway. Fresh motor, with a stock pump.
