Has anyone used E-85 (85% ethanol) in their flex-fuel Explorer or Ranger? If so what do you think about it?

I have several people who have run E85. This is what they tell me. In the winter where its cold (like here) they tend to start hard or have a no start at 10 degrees and less. Fuel mileage stinks, in comparison, the fuel is cheaper but,you get approx 20% less fuel mileage which in turn makes up for the more expensive gas. Basically its a wash. If your into being environmentally correct use it.
