Need help indentifying a part!!
I have an '88 Ranger Super and the driveshaft broke off where the rear universal meets the transfer case. There is a part that is bolted on with four bolts to the transfer that snapped where the universal was. In one of my books, it is identified only as a" circular flange". In looking around, it seems to be called a "flange yoke" but I can't seem to find anything that says that it is on an '88 Ranger.
I really need to get this fixed...any leads on where I could look for info/parts? Thanks!

Sometimes they can be welded by a machine shop. Some shops specialize in driveline repairs. If it is repairable, make sure the shop doing it can rebalance the shaft, or you will get vibrations. The other options are the wrecking yard, on line, or the dealer.

You can get at Ford but you will need to take your DS with you and hope they can read the parts # on it ,thats the only they can order you one,I know this because I had to order one for my 89 Ranger{axle flange}it will be the same way for the T-Case Flange.Junkyards are a good place to find one just make sure its the right size there are about 3 or 4 diffrent ones.Also they are a hard to get out of the T-Cace.
