check my calculations

just wanted to make sure my calculations are correct. im working on a 3.5 inch exhaust and thinking about dualing it out. by my calculations two 2.5 pipes have more volume than one 3.5. just want to make sure im not gonna create a restriction by going with the two pipes. thanks for your help!!!

I get 6.7 sq in for the duals, vs 6.55 sq in for the single 3.5 pipe. Is that close to your calculations?

Pie are square, cornbread are round.....

Single 3.5"
3.1415(pie)x1.75(radius)squared=9.6211
Dual 2.5"
3.1415x1.25squared=4.9087(per pipe)x2=9.8174
Same determination, different numbers.
