I have a 1984 F 150 and i am wondering how to remove the rear window on it. Does anyone have any tips on doing this, and if i do remove it, can i put it back in? I need to remove it to fix some rust on the cab.
hey, I'm a new ford guy, but I've removed windows on other vehicles.
Take some small gauge wire, like safety wire, or piano wire. Push it through the rubber trim, between the glass and body. Then pull it all the way around the window, slicing the rubber gasket as you go. No muss, no fuss

Don't do that - go inside the cab and roll the inside gasket down by the window while pushing out. Work from a corner down the side or top - take it easy and the window and gasket will come out. If the gasket is old spray with WD 40 and let set over night -that will soften the gasket and make it easier to roll out.
Post again when your ready to put the window back in.
