Hello all,
Wow, what a forum you all have! I'll need an instruction manual just to find all the perks! Seriously, this looks like a very good forum. I like that it appears no (civil) topic is outside the realm of this forum. I've been in others and the thread on Wendys would have drawn some bad press by more than just a few. I liked it. Funny stuff.
I've grown up around Fords my whole life- learned to drive on my Dad's 66 350 FB dually (no problems remembering to use my mirrors here). I've owned just about everything from a pinto to an F-600. Have a little experience with the FT/FE engines also. I'm currently looking for a 61-66 crew (see the classifieds). I actually have my wife onboard with this project, which makes it that much more interesting. Depending on the condition of the truck I find, I'm considering using a later model frame/suspension/drive train, which means I'll probably have my share of questions.
Just wanted to say hi,
Lee
Welcome Lee! You've found a great resource for your truck. Check out the classifieds and the 61-66 section. I recommend you try finding a 66, those are the most desireable because of the grill (was designed to have queues from the 56).
