Heated Mirrors?
  • I recently bought a 03 Larait SCrew. Is there a way to figure out if it has heated mirrors - short of waiting until it get's below freezing?

Hi and welcome to the forum
I may be wrong but I thought that all Lariats came with heated mirrors.
Anyone know for sure?

would my 98 have heated mirrors, I don't have a switch or anything??? I have never heard of this.

That is cool if I do though.

I'm having computer problems tonight so I cant really check when they started with the heated mirrors. I think it was later than 98 though.
They are automatic and have no switch.

my mother has a 2000 navigator, and there is a little emblem on the mirror and the words heated in cursive writing, I would assume that the ford uses the same part.

My buddy just bought an F250 Harley edition and it has the heating element symbol printed on the mirrors.

The other day I replaced a heated/signal mirror on an 02 and it didnt have the heater symbol on it. I'm not sure when they stopped doing that.

A couple of months ago I took my drivers side mirror off to fix a "rattle" (Shacking while going down the road) and there was this silver sheet on the back of the mirror and a big circuit board that powers the turn signals in the mirror and the mirror motors for adjustment. There is a big black pad attached to the silver sheet...

On my mirror there is "Signal" wrote at the top in cursive

Mental Note: Bryan you don't have heated mirrors, no matter what you say they are going to tell you different.... Well maaybee someone could just say, ok Bryan, you have heated mirrors, so that I could be happy ....
