Question C7AE-A Heads

OK, hear we go. My 67 2WD short wheel base pickup is packing a 390? Block # is C6ME-A, heads are C7AE-A without the thermacter. Cam is either a 268H or 270H Comp. Have just replaced the rocker arms and shafts with OEM. Hedman headers with FlowTech mufflers. Pipes are 2.5in StreetMaster intake with a Carter Competition AFB numbered 1203. Heads have been angled and ported to match intake. I ain't interested in stump pulling cause she has more torque than I can put on the ground. More interested in quarter mile or top end. Tranny is a three speed manual changed from tree to floor with Hurst shifter. What iron heads if any would give better performance? Thank Ye!

Heads

Which forum? I can't seem to find them. I've checked the FE forum and the FE Big Block.

Russ
I checked those heads. They came off of a sealed up '66 Merc. They have surface rust and need to be worked. They are complete, though.
