Extra Part
While showing my son how to change the transmission filter and fluid, we found a part in the pan after pulling the filter.
The part is about 2 inches long and has a "stem" to a head shaped liked a rounded mushroom with an o-ring. The head is about 5/8 inch around. The part is orange/tan in color.
I can't find where it goes and my service manual doesn't have any details. Any idea?
The truck is a 94 F-150 with 302 EFI. The transmission has overdrive (automatic).
