I got a 200 I6, and really want to mess with it a little bit. I have been building V8's for years and I'm a little burned out on them. Does any body have any reccomendation on cams or cam builders. Thanks
I have been wanting to do a project Fairmount for a while... all the Mustang goodies will work for suspension and brakes, dash and front seats (along with the center console) are a bolt in swap. I want to build a 4 door with a worked 200 and a 5 speed, paint it Titanium Silver and black out all the chrome, put a tastefull set of 17" wheels and tires on it and go BMW 3 series hunting with my "sports sedan".
I have a 66 Falcon 4 door I'm starting as a project. It has the 200 and a C4. I would like to switch it out to a 3 on the tree or a richmond 4 speed, I don't think the switch would be to hard. I'm going to juice the engine up also, triple webbers and a header and an aftermarket head. I have found a few.
There is no after market heads for the 144 - 250 engins yet clifford performance sells stock ported heads/intakes and ford six parts sells stock aussie heads and intake but the aussie head and itake are much more better than the U.S. heads
I guess I used the wrong term. When I said aftermarket I meant the Clifford and Aussie heads. Does anyone have any experience with the Clifford Head. Does it flow better than the OZ head?
A ported heck a stock aussie head & intake will run rings around a clifford head . Like argo said go to www.fordsix.com there is a ton of I6 nutts on there that know all there is to know about the 144 - 250 engins .
