ABS light coming on
Hi, i have a 91 Aerostar, 3.0l. My ABS light comes on whenever I reach a speed of about 35mph. Until i reach that speed, it is off, except for right when I start the vehicle. It then stays on until I turn the car off. After doing a search of this site, it seems that the speed sensor on the rearend is probably the culprit. Is there any way to check it without a scanner, or is this pretty much of a slam dunk, knowing the symptoms. Thank you in advance, Nick

I switched sensors and still having the same problem. I did notice the switch at the front of the mastercylinder is full of brake fluid, so will have to replace either the switch or the M/C itself. Could this be causing the light to come on at exactly the same speed each time? If I stay under 37mph, then the light will not come on. thanks, Nick
