Tow Haul
HI i have an 04 F-250 SC with only 3000 milse on it. I've had a problem with
the truck since I got it. On long downhill runs the transmission would suddenly
downshift at about 45-50 mph with no load then the tow haul light starts flashing. At that point the truck is operating in the tow haul mode and the only
way to remedy the problem is to stop and shut down the engine and restart it.
I've tried engaging the tow haul feature prior to descending the hill to see if
that would help but it does the same thing. I've taken the truck to the dealer
3 times and they've reflashed the computer changed some other parts and still
no fix to the problem. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem.
