94150 2 Gas Problems
1994 F150 4.9 5spd. First Problem Is When I Fill Both Gas Tanks The Gas Is Forced Out Of The Front Tank And Leaks Out At Gas Cap , I Read Another Thread That Was Simiular That Said It Could Be Check Valve. What Do You Think? 2nd Problem Is When Truck Sits For About 4 Hours Or Longer, It Takes A Long Time Cranking Till Truck Fires, Sometimes I Have To Turn Key Off And Try Again. When Engine Fires, The Truck Runs Great. 97,000 Miles . Already Changed Plugs,wires, And Air Filter.

Get to the dealer, tell them you have a safety recall #93S68 on this truck, and ask them if they can fix it for free.( Ford usually gives people a hard time if you come in ten years after the recall was started). The recall, if in effect for your truck, expires after 12 yrs or 150,000miles. Ford was supposed to replace a valve in alot of dual tanks trucks because of the exact symptom you described. There is a forum on the site that will help you find TSB's and safety recalls for your model.

Thanks For Reply, I Called The Ford Dealer Today And Gave Them My Vin# But They Said There Was No Recall Available For My Truck. I'll Replace Check Valve Myself And See If That Will Fix The Problem
