u almost cause me an eye problem but i was able to push it back in!!! im lucky to get 200 with my 5.4sd but i get free gas at work {gas only pump} and as crazy as this sounds im thinking heavly about 6.0
Ive got the bigger tank but tonight I pulled into the yard showing almost 500+/- miles and indicating 3/4 tank used. So thats about your size tank Id guess.
Even though you didn't ask, my 44 gallon tank (on my Excursion) gets me between 660 - 725 miles to empty when filled and I haven't been running hard. If hard, the computer knows your average and reeuces the miles to empty on the overheard guage.
I have pushed 400 miles with 1/4 tank left (29 gallon tank) with a soft foot at moderate highway speeds. Makes me nervous about going empty so I fill up then anyhow. The overhead calculator will show 500+ when full. Who can drive that far without making a pit stop anyhow? At least when drinking coffee . .
I can get around 500 miles per tank too, at 18 mpg. That's getting down to the bottom of the tank though, so I usually don't do it. But I feel compfortable with 400 miles.
I just drove 487 miles. 400 of it highway. I still showed slightly more than a quarter tank. I have a 29.00 gallon tank. Although filling it up to the neck it holds slightly more than 30.
Hey anyone know how I can tell where/what date, etc. My 04 F250xlt 4x4 SC 6.0 torqueshift was built/ if it has an o4 engine etc... Also looking for a goodsite, or book that will basically teach me diesel engines for dummies, this is my first diesel, not my first f250
Thanks
