same tranny ?

dose the 4.2 v6 with the manual 5 speed have the same tranny as the 4.6 with a 5 speed ? anyone know please let me know ,

Hi and welcome to the forum

The bellhousing bolt pattern is different so they wont interchange.

bummer

bummer. i was hoping to swap a 4.6 into my truck, and keep the tranny, but not now. anyone know whare i can get a 4.6 with a 5 speed for a decent price ?
