why ??
i called two ford dealers today an asked about ais air filter .Both said they would not put it on it won't give you more air flow .said more air flow will not make a diesal run any better .does not sound right is that a dealer talking?

I see you are from phx. Go to Sanderson ford the y have a specialty shop in the back that will install and warranty anything they put in. A little more pricey. But never the less dealer installed.
As for your question. Some dealerships will not install and will try to get you to keep the truck stock so they do not lose or potentially lose warranty money. Basically they get a big check from Ford every year to deal with warranty work, once that money is gone it comes out of the dealerships pocket. If they do not use all the money that year it is just extra money for them.
