New user today. Both boys are off to college now and it is time to turn my attention to my 78 F100. The thing I am having the most trouble locating are replacement seat belts. My driver side belt is totally frayed. Any tips on where to locate replacements?
Hello, LMC Truck in Lenexa, KS has replacement seat belts in five different colors for you truck for 16.95 a side. You can't order from there website which is www.LMCtruck.com but you can give them a call at 1-800-562-8782.
I'm sure there is other's too. Good Luck To You and enjoy your Ford.
Rather than ordering from LMC, I would recommend going to a salvage yard, finding a truck that is there because of mechanical problems, and pulling the seatbelts out of it. Make sure if you go, you have a torx set with you to get the whole assemblies out. This is cheap, and you can get exactly what you want....I think the ones from LMC look different than the stock belts as far as the coupling ends....
