Cd Player Problems.

...It plays CD's ok for a few minutes, sometimes seconds, but then it stops, tries to read the CD, and Errors out. ERROR-11. Its an old 2002 Pioneer deh-p3300. Could this be a dirty lense, or is it crapped out? Anyone?

Assuming you don't have the original manual, Pioneer has a website with virtually all stereo manuals listed. Log in to register and presto -- there it is.

Th pioneer website lists your error 11. But it could be anything from a dirty or scratched cds, to a problem with the laser. Have you had the lense cleaned?

Yea the Error mentions Dirtyness and Elctrical Problems. As for cleaning the lens, is there a kit out there for doing that or do i have to go in there myself?

You can pick up a lens cleaning CD that has a little piece of felt on it that gently brushes the laser lens. I'd start there cuz it's cheap and you can reuse the cleaning disc many times.
