Hi everyone, I just finished mounting my aftermarket horn near my front bumper... anyways i've got my toggle switch mouted on my front dash and im having trouble trying to find where I can bring wire from the engine compartment in through the front of the car...Can anyone help me PLEASE??!! I own a 2002 F-150 extended cab, xlt, 5.4 v8
You need to bring the wire through the firewall (the wall between yourself when driving and the engine compartment), there should be a hole with a rubber freeze plug in it to accomplish this, it will be under the dash on the drivers side. When you bring the wire through make sure you plug the hole back up. You don't want any fumes from inside the engine compartment inside your truck. Well...unless... nevermind.

sorry for posting in the wrong spot! But if you could give me more detail at where it is, because I have looked under almost every panel in my dash and I still cant find it!
it is on the firewall under the steering column. You will probably have to get down in the floorboard to see it. It should be visible from under the hood. on the driver's side about even with valve covers on the engine. If I remember correctly. Hope this helps.
