Decided to think about parting with some of my old stuff -- very painful process. Five registered trucks&cars, 4 boats, 3 or 4 possible restoration/parts vehicles...you get the picture.
What has been the best way to get the old parts trucks off your property.
Local classifieds, ebay or just junk them?
Noticed in CT not much interest in late 60's early 70's project trucks ....its a sad thing.
They are worth something. Look in Hemmings Motor News and see what parts and cars/trucks are going for. You sound like me, too many projects and not enough time.
Mike -- We've had a lot of rain here this summer. An old friend came over to borrow something this past weekend. I put the item he wanted to borrow in an old jeep for safe keeping this past spring . While walking the 400 ft or so to the jeep -- I had to stop every 30 feet or so to explain what was behind such and such tree, under what tarp etc...got to the point where he counted x cars, y tractors, z motors, sawmill, well drilling unit, ...time to rotate stuff out -- bought another wooden boat.
gotdiesel -- goal is by the end of October -- 2-3 trucks,2-3 cars,3 boats(1 sail,1 ski/fishing boat,1 pontoon) -- keeping all the tractors and the mill - -talking about a life of excess. Got to simplify.
Not much interest here in Northern NJ for restoring older 60's and 70's Fords either. All the parts trucks I see on ebay are located really far out.. too far to make it worth it to bring it home. I still have my eyes open for the body parts I need to fix up my truck. I'd say ebay is your best bet. You'll probably get nearby people (within a few states) bidding on your stuff. Please don't junk them! They'll help keep others going in the area.
My 69 F100 looks like this truck except mine has rust.
If this truck were within driving distance I'd be seriousily interested.

Sadly I think at least one of mine is headed to the scrap yard.
The only problem I've had with trying to get rid of large stuff on ebay is the price of shipping-if they can't come get it, they ususally don't want to pay the high shipping(which sometimes can cost more than the item they won).
