I wonder if that would be possible with a 5 1/2 bed or 6 1/2 bed... i wonder what it would look like, if ford has thought about it or drawn sketches, i think it would be possible with the new designs...

My thoughts exactly!!!!! I would like it with the 5 1/2 bed even if it didn't have the foot step area forward of the rear wheel. Shouldn't be a problem in the rear bumber area. A Supercrew with stepside would make for a real sporty/classy street truck!
Sure would look classy, but I can't imagine sacrificing any more bed space. It would be about the same size as a sport track if they did. Yikes! I wish they would offer a 6.5ft bed with the S'crew. That would be ideal in my opinion, but with the bed extender I think they can get away with not offering it at all pretty much.

There is actually only a 6" difference in width between the flareside and styleside. You still have 50" between the wheel wells....
