Master Cylinder?

Master Cylinder?
My 88 Bronco has one of those plastic master cylinder resivors. Between the resivor and the metal cylinder there are two rubber seals. They are leaking a little. Is there any way to tighten the resivor?

Are you talking about between the resivoir and the that big round thing against the firewall? (Vacumm assist). If so then no, you need to replace the resivoir, or as otherwise known, the Master Cylinder. Not expensive and easy to change. You spend more time bleeding out the air than you do the installation. Where the cylinder meets up to the big drum looking thing, is not sealed. It is just a rod from your brake pedal to the master cylinder. Sounds like it could be leaking from the back of the master cylinder.

no, it is between the master cylinder(slave valve) and resivor. There are two seals, I think one is for the back breaks and one for the front. I am just not sure if it can be tightened at all.

If the leaks are at the seals, then it is time to R&R the master cylinder. If it is from the resevoir pushing out fluid and getting around the seals, not much of a problem, probably just need a new top or internal seal.
One way I use to find leaks is super clean the area in question, in your case the master cylinder, then dust with flour, after driving a bit, see where the flour is wet.
