That was scary!
I just got off the highway and as I was driving down the road I hit a bump and the next thing I knew, BOOM! My hood comes flying open. After a few skid marks and some swirving I came to a hault. I now have a pretty messed up hood, it bows in the middle. My truck used to have a near perfect body! It is a good thing it did not happen on the highway. The hook was out of adjustment so it did not catch and flew right up. Scary at first but now it was some pretty funny stuff.

Yeah, definitely took a shot like that about a month ago. I popped my hood when I got home to cool off the engine so I could work on it. Fell asleep instead, forgot about the hood, driving along, and whooomp. It loks like slow mo coming up too, like in your mind, then BAM. I had to take my Club and bang on one of the hinges to get it to come back down. Glad it wasn't worse, windshield is only 5 months old.
