C6 Speedo Correction

C6 Speedo Correction
Does the C6 tranny have an easy to exchange speedometer drive gear? Just swapped the stock 3.0 rear end with a 3.50 and need to correct the speedo.
A cursory look showed what looked like the speedo cable going right into the tail housing, no access plate. Do you have to pull the tail housing to swap speedo gears? Anyone have a chart showing the correct speedo gear for various rear end/tire combos? Once I find out which one I need where can you get them cheapest/ easiest?
