72 Column in a 65?

I have a 72 column I am thinking about putting in a 65. Does anyone here know if it will fit? If not, what other years will fit a 65?
Both are 3-speed non-power steering.

Change the dash mount (drill the spot welds). Bolt in deal.

I did just that not long ago. The 1961-70 steering wheel will also fit the '72 column, only the indicator on an automatic column looks different.

Agree with William, swap the dash cuff and it is a bolt in, or use longer bolts in the existing.
