Clutch Suggestions?
I have a chirping sound coming from inside the bell housing. I am guessing that the pilot bearing is starting to go bad. While the tranny is out I plan on replacing the clutch. The truck has 130k on the orig clutch. Is the factory dual mass flywheel worth reusing or should it be replaced? Any suggestions on brands / where to buy clutch flywheel combos? The truck is a daily driver and rarely is used under a heavy load. Thanks.

Buy the Luk clutch, it works great. It is a single mass setup. Had it for 10,000 miles so far and no problems pulling 9000# horse trailer. What a relief in pedal pressure this clutch gives too.

I also recommend the Luk I just installed mine about 1,000 miles ago. I went with solid flywheel upgrade. No complaints yet! Nice soft pedal compared to the stock.A little jerky at slower speeds.
