How do I safely remove front door panels?-97 Explorer
Hey,
I bought my wife a new stereo and speakers for her birthday. The stereo is in (!) but I don't want to wreck anything by just yanking at the door panels. Can anyone write me on the procedure to remove these (keeping them intact in the process?)

I would recommend calling CRUTCHFIELD and seeing if you can pry a set of instructions for removing these panels from them. They sell stereo equipment and provide very detailed (and accurate) instructions for removing the necessary vehicle pieces with every unit they sell. I have bought from them many times and never have a problem with their trim removal instructions. It will eliminate all guesswork and guarantee that everything will go back the way it came off.
