1997 Explorer 5.0 question
I have a 1997 Explorer 5.0 V-8 that has about 71,000 miles on it. I bought it used a year ago Febuary. My question is, I'm intrested in improving gas mileage, throttle responce, and over all power. What plugs, wires, air filter, O2 sencor should I use? Any comments would be appreciated.

Best deal going right now is available from Ford Performance parts. Motorsports (borla) cat-back exhaust system for 96-97 v8 explorers @ $250.00. I found this price on the Ford racing web site www.fordracing.com under the racing mall / great deals section. Do the research, and get one before they sell out. I have a 97 mountaineer with the exhaust system and K&N filter. I saw a noticable increase in performance and no loss in torque. I plan to put 1.7 roller rockers on next.
