tranny problems

ok, this is the third time I've posted..
92 f-150 300/aod/8.8
Lately while driving along around 1500 rpm, the motor jumps to 2000 then back in less than a second. Just a quick rev like the clutches are slipping or the torque converter unlocked for a split second. I checked the tranny fluid and it was warm but not hot, and it was foamy and a bit over full. I changed the filter and fluid at the most 5000 km's ago.
Any idea's??

Hope this post doesn't "dissapear" too.....

OK, I will take a stab at this. It sounds like the one way roller clutch may be turning loose for a moment. Not that uncommon but it will usually only happen in OD. The AOD has a roller clutch that must hold in 2nd and 4th. It has more load in 4th than 2nd so if the roller clutch is getting weak that's when it will happen most.

One thing to note, if you have a standard AOD (and not an AODE), the AOD does not have a locking torque converter.

Actually, I figured out where they went....they were on the next page! DUH!

It has a lock up converter, so it must be a aode I guess.
yesterday I hauled 1 1/2 yards of sand and it worked perfect. Then I drove about 2 hr's each way to pick up some light stuff and again it worked great. Maybe it was a glitch or electrical bug?
