Rear disc brakes?

I have a rear Big bearing 31 spline Ford 9". Im tryin to find a cheap alternative for swapping to discs. Someone mentioned everything off the rear of a Lincoln town car (I believe?) bolting on, are there any cheap bolt on for this rear end? For the record this is going in a Durango so I need all the stopping power I can get. Thanks

You can swap the discs from a Lincoln Versallies or from a either a Ford Expedition or Explorer, forget which one it is. Check out some of the early Bronco parts places, some of them have rear disc swap kits for 9" Bronco axles. www.wildhorses4x4.com www.jamesduff.com www.broncograveyard.com and Toms Bronco Parts come to mind offhand...

So everything from the versailles and/or explorer will bolt right onto the rear end?

I haven't done it on mine, but from what I have researched, it is pretty much a bolt on thing. There may be a someone on the Early Bronco forum of this website who has done it and can give you all the dirt on what exactly what you'll need to do.
