check engine
the check engine light turnes on for a mintue or two and then turns off on my 92 explorer. I looked at everything i could and everything checks out fine. i notice it turning on while going around corners, does anybody have any ideas what it might be?

Since the light randomly stays on for 30-60 seconds i have not been able to pull a code. the rabs computer does not store the codes so the code has to be pulled with the check engine light on.

I'm getting conflicting signals. Which light is coming on: the RABS light or the check engine light? It is true that the RABS system doesn't have a memory in it to store codes. The check engine light is wired into the EEC-IV (engine management) system, and doesn't have anything to do with the RABS system. The EEC-IV computer does have a memory that will hold codes for later retrieval.

In that case, there should be some kind of code stored in the EEC-IV continuous memory. There may also be some KOEO or KOER hard fault codes. In any case, the next step is to pull the codes and see what comes up.
