My questions involves the DPFE sensor. This sensor has two tubes that run to the pipe connecting the exhaust manifold to the EGR valve. I'm getting a check engine light. I do a scan and get a code that tells me the voltage is too low. The wires and connections are fine. I had a similar problem with the Mass Air Flow sensor. I corrected that problem simply by cleaning the sensor with carborator spray. SO.. is there a way to clean the DPFE sensor? I know there is some build up because the tubes leading to this sensor were clogged with a white-powderery build up. I would appreciate any insight. Thank you.

So far I've had three Fords in the shop for DPFE sensor codes and all have responded well to a new sensor. Have never tried to clean one. Just made sure that the lines were open.
