Would anyone happen to know how to remove the stereo from 2004 f150 supercrew & the aux button on the radio signifies what? I have an mp3 player, does the stereo have a plug (input) in the rear of the radio? thanksss.
the aux button is only used for the factory DVD. there is no aux input on the back of the radio. the dvd does have an aux rca input however, and in that case, a second touch of the radio's aux button goes to the dvd's aux input.
if you really really want to look at the back of the radio, open the ashtray, tug at the bottom of the trim bezel around the radio, it will remove with 6 spring clips, pulling as you go up. Once you set it to the side after unpluging the airbag light connector, you will see the 4 screws to remove the radio
thank you very much, but i don't have the ash tray, just an empty spot I believe this is where the ash tray goes. thank you for your knowledge, do I pull this empty space out. this is the way my new truck was sold to me...
