R U Using OD In Town?

Do most of you turn your OD off in town? What's the best thing to do on this? The way this off- until starting engine again type switch works on the OD seems like a pain for me, what do you think?

About the only time I turn it off is for engine braking at highway speeds. Where you have alot of traffic, you don't want to be contsantly on and off the brakes. I don't think it will go into fourth until reach a certain speed. I think somewhere around 35 or 40.

Almost all of my driving is stop-and-go in town and I never turn OD off, is that bad?
I only turned it off when I was towing.

From: Sarnia, Ontario, CANADA!
I rented a 2004 F150 a few weeks ago. I noticed that it was shifting into overdrive around 50-60 KM/H (35-40 mph). I thought this was an incredibly low speed. On most vehicles I have driven they shift into OD around 45 MPH. I just can't think this can be good for the transmission shfting in and out of over drive like that (especially in stop and go traffic). Just my thought.
