I got a mid 80's 460 out of a F350 dump truck a while back. I was wondering if the stock mounts from the 73-79 era 460 will bolt directly up to my mid 80's engine without modification?
Last week I went to the junkyard and saw a '76 F150 - engine code J, that had a 460 (engine was gone), but I was able to get the frame perches and the rubber insulators off of it. Now I need the steel part that bolts to the engine block itself and before I search for it, I want to know if the stock 73-79 steel mount will bolt up to the 80's block.
