I got mine on ebay. There is seller that sells OEM factory seconds. Mine was in real good shape (had a bad spot) and cost $60.00. Shipping was about$30.00. he usually has bumpers from about 1980-1997. I don't remember his name but just type your year in search. I run a search for my year once a day. You never know what you will find.
I don't recall the vendor, but my local Ford dealer ordered me a refurbed bumper from someplace in Indy. Ford was quoting me about $400 for the bumper, this place got one to me for $175 in perfect condition. I don't recall if the plastic inserts were included or if I had to switch them over. I think I had to switch them over. You could call the parts dept. at Mike Raisor Ford in Lafayette, IN, and ask them about the vendor.
Any one used the reproduction front bumpers? I wonder how good the fit & finish is?
Jroehl, I have done searches but have yet to find any bumpers. I have to put the truck in the paint shop today and also need the weather strip that goes on the outside, between the window and the door? I was told that JC whitney had them but I could not locate them?
Thanks to all!
