So My rear drums were partially locked up, I determined that the cable was adjusted too tight. So I need to know how to take some of the tension out of the cable.
I'f looked over the pedal assembly and saw no way to adjust it. Is the only adjustment in the rear drums?
I didn't see an adjuster on the frame rail, is it before they split or after? I didn't touch the rear shoes, the only thing i touched which may have caused this was I replaced the rear shackles and hanger with new ones.
It may be possible that the entire rear axle may have shifted back while I worked on it causing the cables to be over tightened. When I cut the brake cable both drums freed and both rear wheels spin freely. So I just need a new cable and have to adjust it with less tension than the old one.
cheeck at the handle or pedle for a atomatic tensioner. I had this problem with my areostar,it tightens its self, then you change breaks and it too tight. Its a little tricky to release at first. Mine is a handle.
