Differential knock and rock
After a hard slam I bent my drag link and threw off the tire alignment. I replaced the passger side axle piviot bushing only , drivers side radius arm bushing, and of course the drag link and ty-rods. Realigned the tires and now back on the road. But, now when pressing the brakes hard in forward or reverse my diff seem to rock slightly 1/4 to 1/2 inch forward or back with a knocking sound. Any help on the cause of this problem would be great. Did I miss something when fixing my other problems. Is there something I did incorrectly with the axle piviot bushing.

you only did have the job. when replaceing front end hardware its best to replace both sides. so replace the other bushings and see where your at. now did you realign the front end yourself or did you have a shop do it? I would double check everything to make sure things are tight.
