Hi,
I have a 1981 f 150 inline 6 4 speed manual on th efloor . trying tochange rear main seal. Have tranny off and cannot get flywheel bolts off. There are 6 3/4" bolts . The ones with about 4 slots on each one. Do you think they were put on w/ a pnumatic tool? I have a 3/4 " socket and a 3/4 " crescent wrench to prevent flywheel from spinning. All I am doing is lifting the engine. These bolts are on there , not rusted but on..

They are usually tough to remove.....try giving the heads of the bolts some heat with a propane torch. Then try them again. Be sure to use new bolts!, never reuse old flywheel bolts...........your feet or life is more important than the cost of fresh bolts
