MIL eliminators

Im replacing the whole exaust system on my 97 f150 and removing all the cats. My question is will the MIL eliminators for a 4.6 mustang (in mustangs unlimited)work on my truck? Im also getting my exaust done tomorrow so will it run alright till I get them?

Are the O2 sensors for 4.6 Mustangs the same for 4.6 F150's? If not, then the corresponding MIL Eliminator wouldn't work from Mustang to F150. It's a matter of voltage reading. The MIL tells the O2 sensor's pickup that its reading a static GOOD voltage, that the flow indicates neither lean nor rich conditions in the cylinder. I don't think Mustang and F150 motors were too different, if at all really..so..there ought to be a good chance.

You couldn't find F150 MIL Eliminator's? That's rather odd...

I wasnt really looking for them, it was spur of the moment decision to do the exaust for the woodward dream cruise. I already have mustang mags laying all over and I figured they would be the same.
They just came in the mail today but the costomer service rep at summit told us they didnt plug into the o2sensors,, soooo we didnt have our mechanic put the o2s back on. I wont know if they work now till we have them put back on!

Did you use the direct plug or splice in wire style? I thought about getting new high flow cats and mufflers and eliminating all sensors. I have heard the direct plug ones short out easy and the ones you manually wire in are more durable.

I would get some waterproof tape and wrap them anyway.
