seat covers

Tried running a search with no success. Sometime back, a member in this forum inquired about seat covers and subsequently indicated he purchased thru a particular supplier. Considering purchasing thru same. Said he would post what he thought of them. Can I assume you were not impressed. Has anyone found seat covers they were satisfied with.

Acquired 68 bench for my 65. Not really what I want, getting tired of holding off. Decided to see if can locate reasonable priced seat covers in meantime. Vinyl, or synthetic using 'hog ring' type staples to secure to the frame.

Any input would be appreciated,

dave

The bench in my 63 had been recovered for the PO by an upolstery shop for $150.00, and it looked so good I finished off the interior and carpet to match.

Lowest quote on uphostering the seat was $200, which is not bad. Also looking at installing carpet. Just so happens the color scheme I have been trying to find is fairly close to what you have in your 63. Been looking at the cut pile, in the lite to middle saddle, or the camel tan. Do you know what color your seat and carpet is.

Just not sure sold on the 68 bench yet. The 65 seat unrepairable. Fiqure will install the carpet, if ever decide on color, then put the ole raggedy bench seat, don't think it will be long before make decision.

Thx for the input

Its been two years, but I think it was Caramel or Camel. I git it from an ebay guy, and had mychoice of cut pile or loop. It was a very nice carpet, and as I recall only about $100 bucks. I put soundproofing/heat shield stuff under it all (I put AC in the truck).
