hey need suspension advice
i have a 71 f-100 sport custom...im going to drop it and found some 2" lowering springs...only problem is i want 3 inches...can i just cut an inch off the spring? will the suspension(mainly the I-beam) still have decent travel? any advice or references are greatly appreciated

i dont think they make a drop spindle to my knowledge. ive tried to find some my self. the only thing i came up with is the lowering springs, which may mess with travel geometry like you say, or you could go with aftermarket i-beams. they keep everything in check, but are pricey. thats the way i'm going to go. checkout aim industries or djm. hope this helps.
