FX4 Front End Leveler
I just bought a 04 FX4 Screw. It appears to be a good truck but I would like to get the nose out of the dirt. I have been reading about a front end leveler kits but Dont know much about them. Has anyone put one in how hard is it and are there any problems noted.

I'm putting on Daystar 2.5" levelers on next.... Looks fairly simple, but you will need a spring compressor... Also look at ProTech EZ Lift kits. ProTech kits are made with billet steel and Daystar are synthethic... I thought the ProTech may create some noise...

rmj, i had a daystar 2.5 inch kit put on my truck. now have nearly 8000 miles and no problems. kit cost me 110.00 dollars and another 100 to have it installed. daystar uses polyurethane spacers in place of the stock polyurethane bushings. no noticeble change in ride but a real noticeable change in the stance of the truck. the truck is now level. despite what someone on here said about upper control arms being too close to the springs, i can fit my hand between the spring and the arms. maybe somebody installed his wrong, also daystar has been making leveling kits for a long time, no regrets on my part.
