98 Explorer XLT - Turn Signal Problem
Just purchased a used 98 XLT w/ 52K miles.
Turn signals (both left and right) only works when steering wheel is in up-tilt position. When I lower the steering wheel tilt, turn signals will not flash/work. Any ideas how to remedy problem? Anyone with similar problems in 98 XLT? Thanks

98 Explorer XLT - Turn Signal Problem
I would remove the cover around the column and see if the plug for the multifunction switch might not be completely locked in place causing it to seperate when the column is tilted.
