05 SCrew 6.5' bed
Went to the dealer last night and test drove a 04 Screw XLT 4X4. The salesmen said that they are trying to get rid of the '04's before the '05's come out because the new ones will have a 6.5' bed. This doesn't affect me much because the deal you can get now is great and I don't see paying a ton more for 1 more foot. I didn't know if anyone else has heard this and figured I would share. I didn't see one listed on the specs page.

I know that was the "buzz" earlier. I've had several salesman tell me that, that was a big NO on the 6.5ft beds - but I can't say, one way or the other, if they actually knew what they were talking about.
If it's true, most people won't buy the 04 shorty bed and wait for the 05 6.5ft'er

I have serious doubts. They've released the order guides for 05s and I haven't seen a screw with a 6.5 option. I wouldn't bet on it. I would think that is a pretty hefty upgrade to the prodcution line. A little late to start that.
