click click boom?????
well , i got everything back together last night, and hit the key ........click click click........then it tried to start , but then right back to click click click,then try to start...
you get the idea, what is the problem , i know its not the battery , becaus
we tried two diff ones , the truck is an 88 f150 with the SD 302 , 5 speed any ideas as to where to start today???? ooooooh , just thought of something, theres a ground on the passenger side framerail that was chewed up by the rat that was living under the hood, i see whre it was connected to the frame , but where on the engine did it connect?? i have it connected to the smog pump bracket right now.could that be it?????

on the left front corner of the block, down by the oilpan, there is a bolt in a boss. that is where the frame ground goes, along with the ground cable from the battery. make sure everything is clean on there before you tighten it up. make sure it is tight!
it could also be caused by a bad battery cable. check all connectionsat both ends of the cables, make sure the solenoid is tight and grounded good.

the headlights dont dim too much , i know its not battery related , cuz my friend stuck his battery outta his 92 GT stang into it and it still done the same thing, its almost like , the starter is hung up , but i know thats not it ,becasue it sometimes will turn the truck over, sometimes just click click ect
i really need to get it where it will start , besides the obvious , i just got thru replacing a lot of stuff on it ,head gaskets , injector loom , and i want to get this beast runnin!!!!!!!!!!!
