Left over stuff after rebuild NEED HELP

I created a web page of the leftover hoses and wires to give a clearer picture of what I have. Please see http://www.taproom.com/Ford%20F-150/

#1, This is a long white wire with a red stripe. I comes out of the main engine harness on the drivers side just in front of the left valve cover. I can not find anything to connect it to.

#2, This is a large threaded hole on the drivers side of the lower intake manifold near the back of the engine. My guess is that some sort of sensor goes here but I have no idea what kind. I also suspect this has something to do with #1 mystery wire.

#3, This is on the front right side of the engine. It goes to a rectangular box with two caps below the battery that looks like it holds some sort of fluid. It fits on to a tube in the middle of the throttle body but it stresses the plastic hose. Just want to make sure it goes to the throttle body

#4, This is a yellow vacuum line on the right side of the engine. I comes out of a bundle of three vac lines two of which, red and white, go the the vacuum accumulator (coffee can). This one just sorta hangs there.

#5, This bolt plugs a hole which I have no idea what it's for other than to be plugged with a large bolt. It is located down by the oil filter. When I was cranking the engine trying to start it before I realized it this hole happily pumped 2 quarts of oil onto my drive way.At least it was nice to know my oil pump was working.

If anyone would like to address any of thees issues I would be greatly appreciative.

Thank you,
Russell Mack

I think #5 is the hole for the oil pressure sending unit but not 100%. It looks like the same location for the sending unit on a 5.0 from your photos.

yes 5 is oil pressure sending unit. install a mechanical gauge in there. 4 is the vacum line for either the Egr or a module located up near the cowl on passenger side. get a haynes manual it will show you a vacum diagram

I think the wire in #1 is supposed to go to the oil pressure sending unit that is supposed to be in hole #5, like the others said.

#2 nothing goes there - it's open on my truck too

#3 should be the correct place, but I'm not sure if anything is missing from the middle. There shouldn't be any stress on that line, but you are correct in routing it to the throttle body. Judging by the picture, there should be another section of the hose to get it up to the throttle body.

#4 goes to the TAD valve, just behind the smog pump.
