How would I go about finding out how many 67-72 supercabs were built? Standard cabs are a dime a dozen around here, and I've seen a number of crew cabs before, but I don't remember ever seeing a 67-72 supercab until I saw a '71 for sale last weekend. Are they rare or have I just not been paying attention?
I have never seen a super cab of this vintage. Are you sure it wasn't a custom job? That's a popular mod for old trucks on the hotrod circuit. Any pics?
Well, at least its not that I just haven't been paying attention, LOL. I'll have to go back and look closer as opposed to just driving by. No, no pics. Sorry. Thanks for the info.
Thats because back then a truck was just that, A Truck!
Nowadays they are trucks and family vehicles and they have all of the comfort of yesterdays caddilac!
I went back and got out of the truck and actually looked at the supercab in question today and, of course, BB is right. This one is a '75. Funny the things you think you see when you are breezing along at 10 over on your way to somewhere else!
Not sure about this, but I thought I remember hearing that Datsun (Nissan) was the first to come up with the extended cab concept. They called it King Cab.
