86 bed on a 91 frame?

86 bed on a 91 frame?
i have a 1991 f-150 xlt extended cab 4x4 with dual tanks that has a badly damaged bed and doors( electric windows and locks) i also have a 1986 f-150 with a good bed, single gas tank and manuel doors . can the complete bed from the 86 be bolted up to the 91 frame, and the second tank door be cut in. i know its a differant style bed (wheel flares, taillights,etc) but i really dont want to pay around 800 bucks for a junkyard bed. also did the door style also change in 87 or could the doors from the 86 be made electric to fit the 91?

Yes. and No. It will bolt up but the body lines will be different. 87 to 91 has their own body style. The doors I dont know for sure if they will fit. I am sure that they will bolt up however the outer edge of the door might be different and also the body lines and such will be different, same as the bed.
