I am new to this site and have been experiencing problems with my 04 F350.
My truck (which I do love) is stalling on me when it is idling, Mech is getting info from the Ford, so called, Hotline, that it may be the oil injection pump. Has anyone gone through this?
Sorry to hear about your problems. When you get more info about it, go to either the Super Duty or the specific engine forum and post your thread. There will be plenty of help there.
Ive replaced one on a 6.0. 03 f450 it was not fun. Had about 36 hours in testing high pressure system and replacing high presure pump. Oil presure has to be 500 lbs before the computer will let the injectors open. If you unplug the ICP sensor (injection control pressure) the truck will run. It wont run great but should help finding out if the high pressure pump is bad. Good luck!!!!
